M & J Done Got Hitched!

My husband, son, mom and I traveled down to Arkansas about a week and a half ago for my cousin's wedding.

It was hot.

Miserably hot.

But I survived, even with 60+ chigger bites.

The wedding was a good ole country wedding with all sorts of super sweet touches that made it adorable and personal and it totally fit the setting. The wedding was on M's great-grandparents' rice farm and made for an awesome backdrop for photos, especially with all of the golden light we were getting as the sun set!

M made a beautiful bride, and J....well, he's my cousin and I remember changing his diapers when he was a baby, so it's hard for me to look at him as anything but a kid. But he's not a kid anymore - he's an adult, and he's married to a beautiful girl and I hope that they have so, so many years of happiness in front of them.

Thank you, M & J, for allowing me to photograph your wedding. It was an absolute honor [even if I'm still sporting the chigger bites ;-)]! I have so many more photos that I'm working on and will get to you soon.

That said, here's your super sized sneak peek!

Now, I know that I'm obviously biased as this is my son, but I'm pretty sure he's the cutest ring bearer there ever was.

I adore how obvious it is in this photo that both M and her dad are trying to hold it together. The walk down that aisle is really, really tough to do no matter how excited you are about getting married!

J seeing his bride for the first time. I felt myself tearing up while I was watching this happen through my viewfinder and I still get a little teary every time I look at it. Every girl deserves this moment, and J certainly gave M her moment.

First dance. LOVE this photo.

And this one...I don't even know what to say. It also makes me a bit weepy.

Driving off into the sunset. Allow me to tell you what the back window of the tractor read:

"Done got hitched! She thinks my tractor's sexy!"
